5 out of 5 stars awesome!   September 28, 2005
If you see this for sale anywhere, buy it. I paid $6 for it, and am totally glad that I did. All of the games are awesome (FAKK2 and Rune are my favs). Very good deal!

5 out of 5 stars Very good deal!   November 5, 2002

I picked this out because I liked the looks of Rune and I had already decided to buy Oni in a two-pack yet came across it bundled here.

This package is worth buying for Oni alone, but the other games are of high quality too.

Thumbnail reviews:

Rune: Good control system with nice graphics. Runs very smoothly. The start is a bit disappointing though.

Oni: Excellent fun game with fine control system, average graphics. The level design is a bit dull and the save game system is frustrating but the pure fun of the game kept me going back.

Serious Sam: surreal but good shooter. I had trouble with the frame rate even on a one gig AMD athlon but at the time I didn't have a dedicated graphics card. I haven't actually tried it since because it didn't appeal that much but it's a non stop shooter harking back to the days of Doom.

F.A.K.K. 2. Slow start but excellent graphics. Training sequence takes a long time to get through. You start off fighting annoying little bugs, and then get to an INCREDIBLY tough first boss. But in this package, definitely worth the cash.

Myth II. I must confess I didn't play this much. The control system irritated me and the graphics are very dated. Also the voice of the training sequence guy was highly annoying, but I guess that's subjective. If I took the time to actually get into this game I might see past the bad visuals. The first game I played I did very badly, so don't take this into too much consideration on the whole deal.

Basically, for thirty dollars you are looking at a steal. You really can't get any better than this for the money. Not one of the games is a real stinker and even though I barely touched it, Myth II has a sterling reputation.

Snatch this one up as quick as you can.
