I wasn't to sure if I would get a good copy or a pirated version, but after installation it worked out great and for about half of what everyone else is selling it for.

I just installed this copy of Windows XP Pro SP3 on my new MacBook and it works great. I use Windows mostly for work-related things, such as checking outlook email and remote desktop access. But I also use Windows to run some of my favorite software that I don't also have for Mac. It's great to have Mac and Windows on the same machine and this version of Windows does the trick without draining your bank account too much.

I received a shrink wrapped copy of Win XP Pro from this vendor. The registration code provided did not match the registration code on the disc. Program would not install. I believe I received an illegal copy of Windows XP Proffessional.

purchased from EBay.
updated with MS update site with no problems.
works great on Compaq PC.

It is XP pro, but it is not service pack 3.
If it was advertised as service pack 2, I would have bought it from another vender for less money!
