 Review of Earned Value Management May 26, 2006
The Earned Value Management course is insightful and enjoyable. I think it takes the "mystery" out of the Earned Value Management System. The sections on the EVMS Framework and Budgeting and Control Accounts were especially informative.
The Glossary, the Questions at the end of each section and the comprehensive Assessment at the end of the course were extremely useful.
Earned Value Management is a very good tool and I highly recommend it to any project manager.

This is a well put together course on the essentials of EVM. Not a sexy subject, but it is covered quite effectively. The course included: an overview of the benefits of EVM, steps and information required, integrating with the WBS and reporting \ analyzing the outcomes. Good graphics and visuals, fairly easy to navigate.
