3 User fits perfectly May 9, 2008 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
We have used QuickBooks Pro for the past 8 years now. Through different versions and upgrades. I think that they just keep getting better. Sure it isn't a 10K accounting package. I really like the 3 'concurrent' user option this update. We had the five user version 2005 and we didn't need the extra two users.
Great new version of QuickBooks! May 3, 2008 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
We bought this to upgrade our existing QuickBooks Pro 2005, and we couldn't be happier! Upgrading was a snap, and conversion of the data files went smoothly. All users say it is very similar to QB Pro 2005, so there was not a huge learning curve. 2008 includes a file server for the computer containing the actual data files, and we have noticed improved speed from the server using this program. All in all, very much worth the price!

We selected this version for our hospitality business to replace a 2004 single user version so that more than one person could access the database for input or report writing at the same time. So far it is working to our complete satisfaction.
Be prepared to troubleshoot errors April 22, 2008 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
The lack of proper Quality Assurance is evident in QB 08. In addition to the .net framework errors you may receive and have to work around when installing and configureing QB, there is now the joy of having to call customer service overseas to "register" your product. My users have recently had an error were Quickbooks won't properly load files from a network file share. In addition to these problems, be prepared to have to load the database agent on your file server if you have users access the QB files via a share drive.

I have been using Quickbooks for 13 years and it has really helped with the bookkeeping for our business. It makes tax time much easier to have all the information in one area.
