Product Description
Titan Quest delivers all-new action RPG set in the mystical worlds of ancient Greece and Egypt. In ancient times there were the Titans -- gods who existed before the gods, and parents to the Olypians worshipped by the ancient Greeks. Now the Titans have escaped from their eternal prison to wreak havoc on the world. In this titanic struggle between old and new gods, it is the heroes of humankind who will ultimately determine the fate of the world. Almost unlimited ways to modify skills provide players with tremendous flexibility in developing one's character

5 out of 5 stars Terrific Dungeon-crawler   November 24, 2007
If you have played the Dungeon Siege games, as I have, and liked them, as I did, then this one is a no-brainer. It's more of the same type of fast-paced RPG combat, and the graphics are terrific. There is actually a bit of a story to this one that I found to be more interesting than DS or even Diablo.

5 out of 5 stars EXCELLENT MYTHOLOGY & GREAT FUN!!!   August 28, 2007

Sure this is what Diablo3 would have looked like - but this cannot be a bad thing!

Quite realistic graphics achieved even on medium range PCs (a 3year old machine with only the video card upgraded to a 7600GT can run it with everything on HIGH). I particularly liked that you can see the exact armor and weapons on your opponents and, after you killed them, everything drops for looting.

I am a great fun of D&D RPGs. In Titan Quest there is no deep background - except lots of excellent Mythology, CORRECTLY told for once. There is no "official 20-sided dice" getting thrown somewhere in the background - do you really care? Hack, slash, zap, burn and destroy. Loot, sell and buy. Repeat as needed.

You will surely enjoy it! GREAT FUN!!!

5 out of 5 stars Extremely Addicting   August 8, 2007

It's an extremely addicting game which gets better and better the more you play. You can play at your own pace since it is single player or play online with a friend in a co-op mode where you can both use your mastery skills to overcome enemies. Don't worry about dedicating your life to the game in order to have fun like in World of Warcraft. There are tons of choices to make and combinations to choose from. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! ** And I normally don't play these types of games. I'm a First Person Shooter gamer typically. Try the demo first and you'll see!!

4 out of 5 stars Think Diablo II LOD (Plus)   June 27, 2007
1 out of 1 found this review helpful

Great, simple, hack and slash in the same vein as Diablo 2 Lord of Destruction. I bought a couple copies for me and my boys and we had a great time finishing the Easy campaign (it makes you play the easy level first. No choice.)in about a week. The kids got bored and now I am playing through the middle difficulty solo.

It's great mindless, power up, Level up, gaming. Well worth the [...] I paid for it.

4 out of 5 stars Get the expansion (Immortal Throne)...   May 29, 2007

Excellent game. The developers have included all the wished for features missing in many other games of this genre.

If you are going to get Titans Quest, do yourself the pleasure of getting the expansion "Titans Quest: Immortal Throne".

For a better review of this game please see my posting for Immortal Throne - DVD version.
